There Are Three of Us : Joyful Realism – 8½-min process & inspiration

Sometimes painting begins with observing a single moment✨

A few years ago at a café, I noticed a scene:
A little girl proudly eating a lollipop,
while two other girls watched her with envy 😊
The moment was brief, but unforgettable.

Inspired, I first sketched the interactions between their expressions in pencil,
then organized some references for expressions and outfits—
all just to capture the feeling of that instant.

I later compiled it into an 8½-minute short video,
documenting the inspiration and creative process rather than the full painting steps 🎨
